Romans 3:23 tells us “for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”  A lot of us grew up believing that this verse was put in the Bible to put us in our place.  It was put there (we think) to let us know how rotten we really are.  There is a truth to that but wait…there is good news there as well.  The good news is that if you have ever wondered if YOU qualify to be saved…there it is…YOU DO!!  Christ died to save sinners and Romans 3:23 says YOU qualify!!  YOU are one of THOSE!  Isaiah 53:6 says “ALL we like sheep have gone astray…and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquities of us ALL!   That’s IT!!  You come in at the first ALL (we like sheep) and leave at the last ALL (laid on HIM) and you are SAVED!!

There may be some things you don’t understand.  There are some things I don’t understand.  That’s OK…if we had needed to understand everything God would have sent us an educator.  God knew we needed a savior and he sent Jesus.  Jesus died on the cross to offer a once and for all sacrifice before God for your sins.  Will YOU receive the sacrifice offered to you by God?  Tell God you’re a sinner.  He already knows it but He wants to know that YOU know it.  Tell Him you receive the sacrifice of the cross for the payment for your sins.  Ask Him to forgive you on the merits of the blood of Jesus and nothing else and then simply ask Jesus to come and live in your heart.  At that very second construction begins on your Heavenly home.  Settle it now.  You qualify…Jesus died for YOU…He wants to have you accept His cross that settled the debt you owed God because of your sins…and He wants to spend all eternity with you in Heaven.
